more than a yoga retreat. this is for you…
to immerse equally in practice, culture, food, and community // to explore, heal and play in supported space // to fall in love with the South of France (and the version of yourself that you find here) // to connect to what moves you 💓
The South of France is a feast for the senses - fresh herbs and lavender, warm stone and chilled wine, the hum of cicadas and the faint din of a nearby sidewalk café. Sheltered by Alpine foothills and stretching out along the storied Riviera, this is the good life - a life born of and inseparable from the landscape that surrounds you. This is a place with roots.
Walk along the rows of olives and cypress, and it’s hard not to feel connected to things greater and deeper. Put your hand on the worn walls of the village and sense the generations who’ve walked these winding streets, the hands that built everything on which you stand.
{ embodied practice }
Our movement and stillness practices this week will cultivate awareness of connection - to each other, ourselves, all that came before us - to all things, always.
Mindful practices form a supportive structure for each day. Guided meditations to reconnect to intention, Yoga asana to reconnect to our bodies - it’ll be a little different with each day’s theme and adventures: dynamic flows, honeyed lunar practices, philosophy, mantra, and there’s never been a {pulse} retreat without a little dance party.
{ be nourished }
Sharing food is inherently connective, and no one embodies that more fully than Charis, our chef for the week. She cooks to tell stories, to bring people together, to fill you with joy and love. We’ll eat to nourish our bodies, but also to connect - to each other, to ourselves, and the land that feeds us.
French cheese and wine get all the glory, but have you ever tasted a fig plucked from a hundred-year-old tree? The South of France is bursting with flavor, from sun-ripened tomatoes and stone fruit to bold truffles and bright, fresh herbs. You’ll find all of these on our table this week - along with the cheese and the wine, of course.
